Rudolfo Borstel, Environmental Group Leader; Cargill Inc.

Rudolfo von Borstel is the Environmental Director for LatAm at Cargill, where leads the efforts to provide regional leadership and apply subject matter knowledge of environmental regulatory compliance, pollution prevention and sustainability.

 

Rudolfo has 15 years of experience in the environmental field in large multi-companies in Brazil and, joined Cargill in 2006 in Cargill Meats Brazil. During his years in Cargill, he worked in a variety of roles in the environmental field serving different Cargill';s business in this period (e.g. meats, starches & sweeteners, soybean, cocoa, bioindustrial etc.). Currently serves all Cargill business in the LatAm region after previously be responsible for South America region.

 

He holds degree in Environmental Engineering and MBA in Management and Environmental Technology from the University of Sao Paulo. He is also the founder of an EHS Group Leaders of Latin America (regional professionals and leaders of large and EHS-lead companies) to network and share best practices. Rudolfo lives in Brazil with his family.
