Sandra is a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Advance Auto Parts, supporting the North region of Supply Chain. Her responsibilities include developing safety programs and leading safety initiatives, to align all of Supply Chain to achieve the company's safety objectives. Sandra joined Advance 3 years ago, as a Safety and Training Manager hired to participate in the start-up of one of Advance's newer distribution centers, located in Nashville, TN. Sandra was an active key player in making determinations around safety during the construction phase of the facility, and developed site-specific safety programs and training to drive safety initiatives.

A Southern California Native, before relocating to Nashville, TN Sandra previously spent 7 years working for Oakley, Inc. at their headquarters in Foothill Ranch, CA. During that time Sandra managed several environmental and safety programs, and was responsible for submitting various annual reports to several regulatory agencies. Sandra also developed safety training content for Oakley manufacturing, corporate and retail; and also made recommendations in the design and product development phase of the latest eyewear, to proactively incorporate safety into the manufacturing and assembly process.

Sandra has a BS in Environmental Health Science from California State University, San Bernardino, and in her spare time enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
