Sera Kontarini is the Director, Environmental Risk and Compliance at Ivanhoé Cambridge, a global real estate leader in investment, development, leasing, asset management and operations. Sera is Ivanhoé Cambridge's first point of contact on all aspects of environmental risk management and due diligence. She works collaboratively with investors and stakeholders on an international scale to ensure good governance and to provide sound advice during acquisitions, development projects and site remediations. Sera has had substantial success with integrating environment into the company's business life cycle.

Sera oversees the environmental management of over 135 million square feet of real estate. She is responsible for leading the evolution of Ivanhoé Cambridge's integrated management system within the scope of ISO 14001. As the global environmental champion, Sera has had proven success with developing and implementing environmental strategies and tools to meet business goals.

Sera received the 2016 Delta Management Group Clean50 Award, which celebrates outstanding sustainability achievements by 50 individuals or small teams in Canada. Sera began her career in environmental consulting conducting Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, monitoring programs and site remediations for public and private sector clients.
